HOW WILL THIS PROGRAM HELP VETERANS?
VFCF-50 eliminates many of the serious issues that the medical cannabis community and Veterans face, such as uneducated bud tenders, inconsistent strains, insufficient safety information, and lack of information about what to expect when using specific varieties. In a nutshell, the VFCF-50 program ensures and certifies the type of cannabis Veterans access and provides full information of what to expect from those strains.
VFCF-50 certified dispensaries employing "educated bud tenders" will undergo training much like other accredited industry experts; learning how to identify cannabis by leaf and flower type, smell, and other properties, that will help them be more educated in the vast therapeutic strengths of each varietal. Veterans will also receive training, if desired, helping them understand the benefits of specific cannabis types and usage.
The result is a validated product, an informed partner, and an educated patient in the usage of cannabis for improved quality of life.
HOW CAN I GET VFCF-50 CERTIFIED CANNABIS?
If you are a Veteran that was honorably discharged from your service branch, sign up for a free membership in our Members section. You'll be asked to provide proof of service via upload of your DD 214 and a photo (for Identification purposes). VFCF will then issue you a specialized identification card that can be presented at our certified partner dispensaries.
After you've received your identification card, simply visit a VFCF-50 by typing in your address into our dispensary map locator.
